My drive to Washington State

My trip to Washington state gave me a great opportunity to see so much! I was able to take some pretty great photos of the many miles that stretch between Dallas, TX to Pasco, WA. It gave me a chance to meet some awesome people, drink some of the best wine I've ever had, and see some things I have never seen before in my life, like a train bridge!

It was my first for many things. It was my first time to the Eastern Washington, it was the first time I'd ever gone to a winery, it was my first road trip as the co-pilot, it was the first time I had seen salmon swimming in the river.

One of the most colorful sunsets I've ever seen in my life... I was quite impressed!

This was random... a phesant showed up randomly in the back yard and we had to catch it....apparently this guy had a pretty bad temper, but he sure was pretty!

My 2nd Home

A perfect view of one of the most beautiful cities in America. Our Nation's Capital-- Washington DC.

The pink kisses from the sun, one evening in DC.

DC is an interesting place. If you have ever had the opportunity to live there I think you would understand what I mean. A city where all the action happens right under your nose. When you visit, you gain a sense of respect for our nation's leaders, a respect that I had never felt until I lived just blocks away from the Capital.

Washington is filled with so much diversity; everyone you pass on the street has their own story. And its the very adventure that you take on with every "hello" that continues to draw me to this place. From the US Marine to the lobbyist, and the intern to the Senator, when you live here, you become apart of the cocktail that makes this city so unique.

There is another aspect I have to appreciate about this city, the life that plays out before me through my camera's view finder.

This place is full of such beauty--- beauty that you could never find anywhere else.
